In this interview I speak with Scott Osheroff who I have known for five or so years. Scott has an interesting story as he went directly to Asia after graduating from university.
He has lived and worked in many of the emerging and frontier markets in Southeast Asia and Central Asia including Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Laos, Kazakhstan among others.
In this far ranging discussion we discuss why he decided to go to Asia, his work there, and why he sees tremendous opportunity.
We discuss the tremendous opportunity that is currently presenting itself in Uzbekistan. A country that has gone from a North Korea like existence of isolation to opening up to the world while liberalizing economically and politically.
