James Kunstler is an American author, social critic, public speaker, and blogger. He is best known for his books The Geography of Nowhere (1994), a history of American suburbia and urban development, The Long Emergency (2005), and Too Much Magic (2012).
The Long Emergency, published by the Atlantic Monthly Press in 2005, is about the challenges posed by the coming permanent global oil crisis, climate change, and other “converging catastrophes of the 21st Century.” That book was written 15 years ago and it appears that many of the ideas in that book are now becoming reality.
This is not an investment related interview necessarily and there is some explicit language.
However, I think you will find it interesting and outside the mainstream of thought.
