I have pointed these types of activities out in the past. People that are wedded to the EV revolution ignore these artisanal miners working in horrific conditions for low wages, not to mention the environmental degradation that is being perpetrated on the land.
Is ESG the new colonialism where wealthy westerners use poor people in the developing world to assuage their guilt about being wealthy?
If this is what it takes to be green do we really want or need to go there?
